IMCA / eCMID & eMISW audits
Common Marine Inspection (eCMID) and Marine Inspections of Small Workboats (MISW) audits are an industry standard for safety and suitability surveys designed to reduce the disruption of vessel operations. eCMID and eMISWs are standard audits, undertaken at regular intervals (annually) to a standard format (Common Marine Inspection Document, eCMID or eMISW for small workboats). A significant part of the international offshore industry has accepted this document as standard format for vessel inspections.
As IIMS accredited vessel inspectors we carry out IMCA eCMID Audits on various types and sizes of vessels, from small workboats to large supply vessels mostly in Germany, Poland, Denmark, Scandinavia and the Netherlands, but also North Africa and Middle East.

Offshore wind farm development has been rapidly increasing in recent years, particularly in the North and Baltic Seas. These wind farms require specialized workboats to assist with construction and maintenance. IMCA CMID and MISW audits are mandatory for wind farm operators to ensure safety and compliance in these operations. The workboats must meet strict standards and regulations to guarantee efficient and safe operations at the wind farm sites.
