The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the

processing of personal data. For this website, that is the person named above. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. For any question about

your data, write to info@brager.solutions.

2. Visiting this website

Each time you open a page, our hosting provider automatically records technical information that your browser transmits: the page requested, date and time, the

amount of data transferred, your browser type and version, your operating system, the page you came from, and your IP address in shortened form.

We use this information to deliver the website, to keep it stable and secure, and to investigate faults or attacks. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not

combine it with other data.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of our website.

This website is hosted by Squarespace Ireland Limited, Squarespace House, Ship Street Great, Dublin 8, D08 N12C, Ireland, acting as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Squarespace uses its US parent company, Squarespace, Inc., as a sub-processor. Squarespace, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; where a transfer is not covered by that framework, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply.

3. Cookies and your choice

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work — for example to protect forms against misuse and to remember your cookie choice. These are set without your consent, because the website cannot function without them. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) TDDDG. All other cookies — currently those of Google Analytics 4, described in section 6 — are only set once you accept them. When you first open the website, a banner gives you three equal choices: accept all, decline all, or manage your preferences individually. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed.

Legal basis for non-essential cookies: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the

future, using the cookie preferences link on this website. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies or to delete stored cookies. Parts of this website may then not work as intended.

4. Enquiry form

What we process. If you send us an enquiry using the form on this website, we process the information you enter there: the service selected, vessel name or IMO

number, port or location, the requested date or window, company and invoice address, your name, your email address, your phone or WhatsApp number where given,

any additional information you provide, and your confirmation that you have read this privacy policy. We also store the date and time of submission. Why. We use this information solely to answer your enquiry, to assign a surveyor and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation. Legal basis. Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. Where an enquiry does not relate to a contract, we rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us. By ticking the confirmation box you additionally give your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to info@brager.solutions. Recipients: The form is operated by our website provider, Squarespace Ireland Limited, Squarespace House, Ship Street Great, Dublin 8, D08 N12C, Ireland. Submissions are stored there and forwarded to our mailbox, which is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Both act as processors on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR. Our mailbox is hosted in Germany. Where form data is transferred to Squarespace, Inc. in the United States, this is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that framework does not cover the transfer, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not pass your data to any other recipient unless we are legally obliged to do so.

5. Contacting us by email, phone or messenger

If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we process the details you give us in order to deal with your request. We do not use them for any other purpose

and we do not pass them on. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention as in section 4.

6. Google Analytics 4 This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use it to understand how our pages are found and used, and how many enquiries reach us through our forms. Our measurement ID is G-FWZK3YT1SE.

Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics does not place cookies and does not collect data about

your visit. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. We have set the retention period for event data and user data to 14 months; after that, the data is deleted automatically. We have switched off the optional sharing of our Analytics data with other Google products and services. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.
